diamond bin

2012 - The Diamond Bin was designed as part of my graduation project for the study of Industrial Design at Deltion. This bin design was selected by the city of Zwolle and Ecobin to be fabricated and placed near Deltion. The bin has the shape of a diamond to reflect light in the direction of the people passing by. This way the Diamond Bin gets noticed easily and invites people to throw their waste inside the bin, instead of on the streets.

Engeneering

After my design, the Diamond Bin is finalized by Ecobin and made by Konvi RVS. Together with them and the city of Zwolle the bin is tested and prototyped before going into production. Now the Diamond Bin is on sale via Ecobin.nl.
